Joe
Was just reviewing your latest e-mail with all the links contained on
one page for the membership. Thanks, again, for all the time and work
invested in organizing this terrific benefit that has kept us all
connected - active and retired!
Be well.

| Joe, As I look at those photos, I
recognize a lot of faces. I see a group shot of guys who I investigated
for the job. A lot have gone up in the ranks and I am happy for them. I
wish them all well. I have been out 10 years now (how time flies).

Your web
pages are great, keep up the great work. The segment on the new JFK
mockup looks great, a lot different than when I did the training in
the late 80's.

Hi Joe, just got through seeing your
pictures. As always it was great. I wish I could have been there. Now
that we are settled into the new house, it will be a priority to make
it up there. The pictures came out great! Saw a lot of guys I
remembered and some I didn't. Nice to see Owen Hyde, Sclafani etc.
Hope the all stick around another year so I can see them in
person...................................Bob Strongarone

Joe:
I hope some one besides me has said your doing a bang up operation. Guys
like you come along every twenty years. There was a Police Officer named
Dennis Higgins
who has left us for that Precinct in the Heavens, would say Sarge your
ten years ahead of the times and twenty ahead of the Port.
Just like the pics you took at the JFK Commissary Party great idea. I
only reconized Mike Ferronola,Vinney Ortez(I think) and John
Kassimateses he was a Police Officer
when I left in 1980. Finally they(PORT BRASS) relizied he was officer
material. I think he went to Captain!!!!!!!!Now I'm sorry I did not go
even just to meet a few of the
remaining ole farts. I started at Kennedy in1958,( THEN IT WAS IDELWILD)
when the Seaboard World crashed into the only terminal there, actually
it slid off the runway
and came to rest by the terminal. I finally received my first assignment
at JFK 12-8s 1967 for the summer That is after being in the Airport Pool
six years.Then a spot
opened at La Guardia in 1969 till I made Sergeant in 72 then to JFK till
76, then to GWB as construction Sgt. ( bad move on my part) good OT but
the Bosses
were all misfits kicked out of other facilities or Belleveu Hospital out
patients That does not include Lt Charlie Mitchell.
Well Joe as they say Your a Breath of fresh air and good for us old
foggies who do get on the computer and do like to hear current
happenings with the Port
Authority Police.
As for a the doughnut Police I could start you off with some Charter
Members especially at JFK!!!!!!!!!
Let me get to my Hockey Game and I'll see if I can help you out withsome
bits of Trivia Goofs some of the ole timers are noted for, but rarely
discuss.

You
have really come a long way from the first web page. I am very
impressed and will look forward to the emails I get from you.
I
do stop by the web site occasionally and enjoy all the memorabilia and
the information on how the PAPD is progressing.

Thank you very much for the work you are putting
into this new newsletter and the webpage. As a retiree, it continually
reminds me of the valued friendships I developed at LGA and JFK
airports. Also the funny situations that occured during my 15 years at
NY Airports. Keep up the good work
